Dr. Kyung ('Ken') S. Park, Professor Emeritus; Dep't of Industrial Eng., KAIST, Taejon, 305-701 KOREA.
Received an MSE ('69) in I&SE from the Univ. of Florida and a PhD ('73) in I&OE from the Univ. of Michigan. He was Assistant Professor at RIT, Rochester until 1976. He has published many journal articles and authored several books in ergonomics and reliability, including Human Reliability: Analysis, Prediction, and Prevention of Human Errors (Elsevier, '87). He received the A.G. Kammer Merit in Authorship Award ('75), the (American) Human Factors Society's 1988 Distinguished Foreign Colleague Award, and the International Ergonomics Association's IEA Fellow Award ('03). He has served on the boards of many international journals and professional societies. He organized the Ergonomics (Human Engineering) Society of Korea in '82 and the Korean Society of Maintenance Engineers in '96 and served as respective founding presidents for many years. He is a Life Fellow of Korean Academy of Science & Technology.
